High specification waterproof, breathable, windproof and soil resistant jacket with Thinsulate insulation, specially designed to give the protection you require in a wide range of conditions, also providing essential breathability required for today's ever demanding outdoor lifestyle.

Outer: Microfibre with GUY-TEX 2 layer lamination and Dupont® Teflon® PU Coating. Inner: 3M Thinsulate insulation to body and sleeves. Lining: PolarTherm Techmesh. Excellent air permeability. Perfect moisture management. Body heat retention. Windproof/Waterproof/Breathable/Soil resistant. Superb freedom of movement. Soft feel. Quick dry. Reinforced tape sealed seams. What standard of waterproofing do I need?
All garments that state that they are waterproof have had to meet the British Standard to be able to declare this. This means that the fabric is to a recognised standard of waterproofing and all seams have been tape sealed to ensure that water cannot get through the seams.

There are then two main standards for waterproof garments - those that are breathable and those that are not. You really need a breathable jacket if you are going to wear it for regular, active use - anything from mountain walking through to walking to school, although the padded lining in some garments that are waterproof but not breathable will help to wick away sweat from the body. This has been reinforced by positive customer feedback on this type of garment.

Non-breathable garments without a padded lining are perfect as a stand-by waterproof for 'just in case' situations, such as on the beach or in the back garden or playground. There is one exception - the Togz cape, which is not breathable but circulates plenty of fresh air anyway because of its' design.
