Gloves or Mitts?
If your child suffers from really cold fingers in our normal winter conditions, we feel that mitts will probably be better. 'Mutual bodily warmth' as a principle can be just as effective for your fingers warming each other up as it can be for whole bodies! Mitts are also easier to turn inside-out to dry, because most of us get our gloves or mitts a bit damp inside after a whole day of active use, whatever their specification. Many parents who are leaving their children in ski school prefer to let them wear mitts as they know they will be easier to get back on on their own if they have to.
